EAC provided architectural and engineering services to Desbuild Inc., a design-build prime contractor, in designing and preparing construction documents to house the new Commissary building for U.S. Embassy Staff in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The scope of this project included demolishing the existing facility and re-building a new 1-story building, about 22,190sf footprint, to house the Embassy's Commissary, the USAID maintenance staff and the warehouse facility in Kathmandu.

The building was designed to comply with the current Forced Entry/Ballistic Resistance security requirements of the State Department at ECC of $7M.
