Complex phasing to keep the Chapel in operation during construction. EAC provided architectural and engineering services for surveying and the design of HVAC and restoration of the historic landmark built at the turn of the century. The chapel currently seats 2,600 people. The building demanded creative solutions to integrate modern mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining the historic fabric of the building. The design required presentations to the base Commander and approval by the Maryland Historic Trust. The construction is complete and the project was nominated for the Awards Program by the Maryland Historic Society. The drawings were prepared using CADD. The interior view of the chapel demonstrates "no visible adverse impact" due to the integration of HVAC into the building.

Nominated for Maryland Historic Society Award.
