As a design partner of a design/build team, EAC provided design and construction assistance services on this U. S. Energy Technology Project for one of the large magnetic-levitation bearing, 2520 kw (720 ton) air-cooled chiller.  This project for "greening of the Embassy" will have a pay-back in less than 10 years.  The chiller will reduce the embassy's electrical consumption and demand charges, reduce water and sewer flows, result in reduction of C02 and particulate emissions, reduce noise level and maintenance costs.

The project required interconnection to existing piping, pumps and control system.  One of the major challenges of the project was to allow for the installation with minimal impact on the cooling needs and providing for the continued function of the building for mission critical needs.
