EAC provided design services to Building E3835, which is a part of the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) program. Laboratories in this building provide Research and Development services involving chemical, biological and hazardous waste systems. Building E3835 needed to be upgraded and expanded in order to satisfy future requirements for future project functions and size. The original HVAC system was approaching the end of its useful life expectancy and therefore needed to be replaced.  The purpose of this project was to build a new addition onto the south face of the building and to replace major HVAC equipment. The electrical system was also upgraded as required. In addition, the non-functioning clean room HVAC system was diagnosed and repaired.
